Red Cup.

There is a new app that is sure to revolutionize social networking yet again... Ready to be apart history?! The App is called, The Red Cup App and it will specialize in connecting people socially through the nightlife setting but ultimately expanding to everyday use.

What is It? and What Makes It Different?

While most social networking sites revolves around the individual, this will be centered around the venue. Red Cup will create a community of users in every venue (club, bar, lounge) every night of the week. This way if you are for example, at Colony in Hollywood, it allows you to communicate with everyone who is at Colony which includes new people that you may have never met before.

RED CUP= NEW FRIENDS= ULTIMATE SOCIAL EXPERIENCE

Who Is it For?

No limitations, whoever wants to be social and meet NEW people, this app is for you. From kids at college parties to working professionals, like myself.. hehe. Hence the title Red Cup, it won't be limited to only bars/clubs.  For example, a  Fraternity such as Sigma Chi can be throwing a back to school party and this can be used as a social platform into meeting new people. As long as your old enough to be social, you can use this app.

Better with the Lights Off.

Last week I got to go to the New Boyz and Chris Brown video shoot, for the song "Better with the Lights Off." The song is extremely hott and catchy and I'm excited to see how the final product is going to turn out! Here is a behind the scenes snap of Ben J from the New Boyz.

If you haven't already heard the track..Listen to it here! :

Icon.

Happy birthday to the most talented singer, dancer, and full on entertainer Janet.. Miss Jackson if your NASTY! Whenever I am in a neutral mood, all I have to do is open up my iTunes and Janet immediately has me singing and dancing as if I were in the Rhythm Nation music video. I had the absolute pleasure seeing her in concert, back in 2008 for the "Rock Wit Chu Tour". Let me tell you, I've seen a lot of amazing artist in concert (Destiny's Child, Earth Wind and Fire,Drake, Justin Timberlake, Usher, *NSYNC, and Spice Girls etc..) but Janet is the epitome of a AMAZING show. The visuals were mind blowing, and non stop dancing and singing best believe I got my moneys worth! Janet is a icon in my eyes because her looks were always dynamic, and her music always evolved with the time and never cease to makes me feel good! Janet is the essence of a icon.. and I'm a fan for life!!! I love you Janet Damita Jo Jackson!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Here is one of my favorite songs from her, "Because of Love", the melody is contagious and I love the video because she flashes her beautiful smile the whole way through.:)

Jumping the Broom.

Last Wednesday I had the absolute pleasure of being invited to the red carpet (well white) of the Jumping the Broom premiere. I also saw a lot of notable black stars, as well as a real couple get married from a contest they entered. I knew when I first saw the trailer for this movie, I wanted to see it!! You have Megan Goode, POOCH HALL, Laz Alonso, Angela Bassett, and Paula Patton just to name a few! I must say that I advise everyone to see this movie!!! It was hilarious and it had heart and might strike a cord for those sensitive people out there. I also want to note that there is a pretty good twist that I didn't see coming in the movie. It has been a while since there has been such a strong, stellar all African American cast with such a good plot line. I throughly enjoyed looking at such a good looking cast :) I will say that Mike Epps character stole the movie, he will have you dying the whole time as well as Laz's character you will definitely fall in love or have a crush on him by the end of the movie. Movies like this makes me want to fall in love and  "Jump the Broom " soon.. SMH. Real talk if you want to see a cute movie that will make you feel good, I would definitely peep it... Here are some pictures from the premiere I attended, and yes Paula Patton and Pooch Hall are even more beautiful in person!

Jumping the Broom gets a B+ for having beautiful black people.. and good laughs.. HOLLA!

2 The Sky.

Not too long ago, I had a "Femme Underrated" list for females in the game that I feel do not get the recognition that they deserve for their music. When I think of a guy who falls under the underrated title, I can't help but to think of the ever so talented Robin Thicke. Lately I have found myself putting his music on blast to relax and vibe to it. His music definitely gets me in a chill mood, if I am stressed or just want to get my mind off of things. I almost forgot just how good he actually is. Not to mention he is SEXY ASS HELL!!!

You may be familiar with Robin for his breakout hit "Lost With Out You"and "Sex Therapy", but there is so much more to this man. His vocal capabilities to go lower than low, to the sexiest and smoothest falsetto. Robin can play the piano, guitar, writes his own music, and arranges a lot of it as well. When I hear him hit certain notes I feel that he takes me there, he pierces me through the soul!! Its kind of hard to explain, but check out  this 2006 AOL session of "2 The Sky", which is featured on his 2006 album "The Evolution of Robin Thicke". Once it hits 3:43of this video, the music and his voice will take you to another place and you will get what I'm talking about. It will definitely strike a nerve.

Check it out....
